Hi again. I was wondering if you help walk me through the steps to solving this question. Not sure if its an arithmetic error or what, but I can't get any of the options as my answer.Thank you.
Hey there! Absolutely. These are a little confusing.. But the best way that I have found is to set it up like a simple algebra problem and solve for x. I wrote it out on a sheet of paper for a better explanation! Please let me know if you have any other questions !
That x where I said to disregard is essentially how much silver(Ag) and how much bromide(Br) will be added to the solution and thats why it is being added to 0.001M NaBr. But the concentration isn't significant enough to note so we make it up for in the final calculation. If you do it out yourself, you will see where we make up for it and see what I mean.
